Rhonda McDONALD

Rhonda McDonald spent some of her childhood at Bangemall where her father ran the hotel and a gold mine,  She attended the Presentation Convent, Carnarvon with many of the people mentioned in this book.  With her brother and sister she went to Mangaroon Station when Carnarvon was evacuated during World War II.

After leaving school Rhonda worked on the Carnarvon telephone exchange before becoming Gascoyne Traders' first secretary.  She married Allan McDonald of Mangaroon Station where, apart from his school days, first at Carnarvon the Aquinas College, he had lived all his life.  Allan is a great raconteur and has a wonderful knowledge of the Gascoyne area.

Rhonda has always had a keen interest in the history and people of the North West and great love of theGascoyne area.
